NSC training sessions

Training sessions at the NSC every Mondays during term time only from 5:45pm - 7pm. for year 7 upwards

Training will be delivered by UKA level 2 coaches covering all aspects of athletics. Please wear appropriate clothing to suit the weather conditions and bring a drink.

This Long standing event has been on the Manx Athletics Calendar since 1982 with Paul Clarke winning the Inaugural race in 00:55:26. The following year 1983 Steve Kelly set a new course record of 00:52:04 which to date still stands.

Steve holds 4 of the top 10 fastest times for this event.

Market place from 8:15am


Start times

Walkers:- 9:15 am

Runners :- 10:15 am


Note:- All walkers will start at the same time this year.


ENTRY FEE for both races £5

Non club runners will be charged £7


Competitors must be 16 years old on the day of the race and 18 years old on the day for the walk.
